Shifting Tides was founded by three, multi-cultural, ambitious millennials with a passion for telling stories that resonate in a globalised world.

ANTONIO CELOTTO
Antonio Celotto is an award-winning filmmaker and composer whose work spans fiction, documentary, and branded content. Known for his evocative visual language and human-centered storytelling, Antonio blends classical European cinematic techniques—shaped by his training in Paris—with the refined aesthetic sensibility he developed in the Italian fashion industry.
His narrative style is further enriched by a decade of experience as a video journalist, capturing stories across London, New York, and Tokyo. Whether directing a cross-cultural dramedy or crafting immersive soundscapes for a global documentary, Antonio brings precision, empathy, and a distinctive visual voice to every frame. He is co-founder of Shifting Tides, where he leads projects that challenge perception and expand cultural dialogue.
JULIE BOLITHO
Julie Grace is a British-American, award-winning writer, researcher, and internationally recognized meditation teacher. Her creative work has been featured in the Best American Essays, Best New British & Irish Poets, and nominated for a Pushcart Prize. A Truman Scholar with academic training in Creative Writing and Literature & Medicine, Julie brings a rare blend of emotional depth and intellectual rigor to every project.
She is co-founder of Shifting Tides, where her storytelling expertise spans scripted drama, cultural documentary, and socially resonant animation. Her writing often explores the intersection of identity, culture, and consciousness—whether through a coming-of-age dramedy, a horror feature rooted in digital echo chambers, or a preschool series about a capybara. Julie’s work invites audiences into deeper connection and reflection, hallmarks of the Shifting Tides ethos.
TOM HASHIMOTO
Dr. Tom Hashimoto is a seasoned financial geographer and international strategist with deep expertise in economics, finance, and law. As Director of Investor Relations at Shifting Tides and head of the company’s EU operations, Tom bridges creative vision with financial rigor. He provides socio-political and economic assessments of filming locations, ensuring each production is both globally informed and locally grounded.
A multilingual scholar and creative contributor, Tom brings a unique geopolitical lens to the company’s content development, especially in projects with economic or political themes. He is an Associate Professor of Financial Economics at ISM, holds a DPhil from the University of Oxford, and is a member of British Mensa and the Lions Club. He speaks English, Japanese, Russian, and Polish.
